MEIJI ML9000 SERIES POLARIZING MICROSCOPES

  ML9300.jpg (33715 bytes)

The ML9000 Series polarizing microscopes are suitable for most applications in geology, petrology, mineralogy, toxicology, chemistry, pharmaceutics, medicine, pulp/paper, atmospheric pollution, ceramics technology, and forensic medicine, etc.

The ML9000 Series are full size polarizing microscopes with centerable objectives and ball-bearing rotating stage.  The Bertrand lens gives extra large and bright interference figures in both binocular and trinocular models.

All ML9000 Series microscopes are supplied with styrofoam case, dust cover, and instruction manual.

Encompasses 3 configurations as listed below.

Large, stable microscope base and limb with graduated, coaxial coarse and fine focusing (with safety stop), rack and pinion focusing condenser mount, Koehler base illuminator with pre-centered 30 watt tungsten halogen source and with integral 115 volt electronic transformer with intensity control.  (220/240V AC system also available.)

  • Binocular, trinocular, or monocular body, 30° inclination, with high transmission prism system.  Attachment fitting slotted for correct orientation.  Dovetail slider inter-ocular adjustment and dioptric compensation facility incorporated in one eyetube.  One eyetube slotted for 90° and 45° orientation of cross-line eyepiece.
  • Both orthoscopic and conoscopic systems of observation can be carried out.
  • Extra-bright, extra-large interference figures are produced by a new concept Bertrand lens.
  • Ball-bearing rotating stage, 150mm diameter, graduated with vernier, and stage specimen clips.
  • Ball-bearing quadruple nosepiece with one fixed and three centerable objective apertures.
  • Analyzer, in slide for E-W insertion.
  • Bertrand lens with field-limiting stop, in slide for E-W insertion.
  • Polarizer, in swing-out click/clamp mount, fully rotatable with click stop at 0° and 90°.
  • Slide opening in limb for insertion of DIN standard 20mm x 6mm compensators, slideway SE-NW.  (Mica 1/4 wave plate and sensitive tint plate included.)
  • Strain-free Achromatic Condenser, N.A. 1.25 with aperture iris diaphragm and swing-out filter holder.
